My Review of Bua Thai Restaurant. The food was so-so…when we asked for no fish/seafood, no one mentioned that there was fish sauce. When I phoned to check, the gentleman was quite rude, as he was when I phoned back to check when our order was to be delivered (supposed to have been between 11:15 & 11:45). I would certainly not recommend this restaurant to anyone 🙁
Rude Rude Rude. I agree that food is actually not bad. However, it is expensive. I had a lunch for 2 that cost in excess of $70.00 (no alcohol, only 3 dishes). Thought there must be an error but paid it anyway. Waiter ignored us for the most part, and between that and the cost, did not feel; a tip was required. Waiter ran out after us screaming about not leaving a tip. UNBELIEVEABLE
This is the best Thai food restaurant in Edmonton. It is expensive, probably because it serves food of the fine dining quality, or simply because they know this is Thai food crack and that I will ALWAYS be back for more. The cook, Kao, is some kind of culinary sorceress. Must have: -Larb Kai chicken salad (served actually spicy)-Cashew Chicken (white person’s dish? Think again. This is a complex item that bursts w flavour)-39. Phat Phed Moo (stir fried pork curry)-Shu Shee beef or shrimp -46. Spicy beef w Kaffir Lime Leaves……(Phat Phrik Nua)-87. Crispy egg noodles Bow to the tasty gods of Bua Thai.
Expensive. Bad service, not attentive. I may as well as went to a fast food if I wanted to order and be ignored. Food tasted good but the experience ruined it. There are other places in town where I could get the same if not better food and a much better experience. Won’t be back.
Authentic but on the pricy side. I lost count how many time I go back. It’s one of my favourite. It’s authentic. Bit on the pricy side but its totally worth to try. Tom Yum is my favourite soup.Sizzling seafood is spicy and yummy.
Great food. Pay for quality here. Spicy beef with kafir lime. Amazing.
Cashew chicken rocks. I love this place. Pricey, but delicious. Get it to go. My fave is the cashew chicken.
