Undercooked rice and they try to skimp on the ingredients. I had ti tell the lady to put sour cream 3 times because each time she only got a lick of it on her spatula to put in my bowl. Ridiculous. She literally SPRAYED The cheese lightly. I asked her to put more (especially since i upgraded to the bigger bowl…) And WHY is the guacamole extra? How do u have burrito bowls without the standard guacamole. Horrible. Won’t be returning.
Haven’t had a bad experience yet and I eat here at least 4 times a month. The burritos are a little sloppy but the freshness and flavor the best of any fast food offering.
Delicious!. I’ve been to the U of A locations several times and it is one of my favourite places to eat. I usually alternate between vegetarian (guacamole) and chicken burritos both of which are plenty filling. Everything is super fresh and flavourful and full of herbs and spices. The salsas are all amazing! I also like that you can come away with a pretty darn healthy (and still mega tasty) burrito with all the veggie options if you leave out the sour cream etc. I much prefer Burrito Libre by a long shot to every other burrito place because everywhere else I have ever tried because you get a really great burrito rather than just a tortilla full of meh rice and beans.
Perfect for on the go without sacrificing quality. Grabbed a burrito for lunch! Friendly and very polite staff. Delicious. I got a small burrito, perfect for a snack on the go. Go for a chipotle honey chicken with southwest sauce. I think the best thing I’ve had here though is the quesadilla, seasoned perfectly and loaded with tons of cheese mmmm! I like this place because you’re in and out as fast as a McDonald’s but eating something that tastes significantly more fresh and flavourful. I disagree 100% with the Mucho Burrito diehards on here haha. Viva Burrito Libre!
Not great. Everything kinda tasted.. not like a taco should. The pulled pork was way too sweet, the chicken wasn’t spicy, and the beef was meh, but tasteless. Everything was soggy and frankly not worth it. Sub-par. I would just go to Mucho Burrito.
Nothing spectacular about this place, except the bad service.
