We had a lovely dinner here last night. My date and I shared the following 4 plates.We started with the pan fried ricotta cakes…..yum! Melt in your mouth explosion of house made ricotta, chicken conserva, tomato basil jam, basil oil.Next we had one of 3 choices of crostinis. We choose the tomato conserva, Bufala mozzarella, pesto Genovese. Very nice, although I would have loved some balsamic on this.Our 3rd course was the ravioli. Omg, this was fantastic!! Ravioli with roasted squash and ricotta, brown butter, Pecorino Toscana. This homemade pasta will melt in your mouth….truly the most exquisite pasta we have ever ate. Bravo to the chefs!We finished with the Osso Buco, which is braised veal shank, tomato spezzatino, soft whey polenta, gremolata. Never, and I mean NEVER, have I tasted such a delectable polenta. The veal shank was enticing, however we are not big eaters and we were quite full by the time this course came.We left extremely full and more then happy with our experience. A wonderful dinner for 2, with 2 glasses of wine came to only $113.00.Thank you to Lisa our server, for her recommendations and exceptional service.
