Stopped by for dessert on the way home. It took a while for our server to notice us, and the drinks took a while, but the patio was nice when the sun had set. I ordered the sticky toffee pudding and the peanut butter cookie skillet. The sticky toffee was a hit.. the skillet, not so much. Overall, the service was slow, environment was nice and the one dessert was delicious!
On a not so busy Tuesday night my friend and I were disappointed with the service. Our sangria glasses were filled with so much ice you couldn’t even drink out of your cup, the ice was literally over the top of the glasses. The bartender didn’t offer us straws, which we needed, and never checked up on us. On the patio, our server was super slow – asked us how our meal was as we were taking out last bites. The patio wasn’t even busy?! But you could tell she knew a table as she kept chatting with them and sitting down. I was basically waving my debit card in her face to get her attention to pay.
Earls is usually a pretty good experience. The menu is great, and the ingredients are fresh and generally good quality. There is a little inconsistency in prep in my experience. the kitchen staff borders somewhere between experienced professional and part time student, and since the prep and production is all done in house (or at least this is my impression) the execution can be hit or miss from experience to experience, but the plus side of that is freshness. when the planets align (which is more often than not) you can get what is equivalent to a mid-high end meal at a mid range cost, but 1 in 10 times your experience might dip into the mid-low range. Generally Worth the gamble in my opinion.
Went here for lunch with family a while back. It was a bit busy but we got seated pretty quickly. It took us not long before we placed an order and the food came out at a decent time. The service was pretty good, a clean restaurant, friendly staff and the food tasted good. Would probably come back if I am in the area.
Venue: Clean, modern cozy vibe. I always appreciate a place that has a good variety of seating options and tables nicely spaced so you don’t feel like you’re dining on top of each other.Staff: Kind and very welcoming. Service was very slow which was surprising considering it was pretty sparse. But I will take a slow but friendly service over fast and sour anytime, and our waitress was absolutely lovelyFood: All of us were very pleased with our entrees. Food was delicious and healthy servings – had to take some home. 😉
Excellent service, ceasers were really good, food was very tasty as well 🙂
Excellent. Finally a restaurant for the discerning adult. Great steak, full bar, delicious desserts and the women out of this world. Chubsters would hate this place. I have to say no kids around which means it is a grown up classy restaurant and with such waitresses you drink and tip heavily
