I think many people have just forgotten about the dinosaur otherwise known as Earl’s. With Edmonton’s food scene blossoming in the last 10+ years, people have found other options like Cactus Club, Central Social Hall, Local, etc. What happened to good old Earl’s and Joey’s? Well – Happy Hour! I wouldn’t have come here but the happy hour menu is super cheap and it’s great for what you get. Definitely not something I’d pay full price for. I’d rather support other local farm to table eateries. When you are sitting outside, be sure to calculate when the sun sets so you don’t get killed in the sun. I sat in a bad spot. I’d eat the coconut prawns and tuna tataki again. The pizza is passable. I also heard that the south common location had some crazy eggs benedict special on Sunday? Anyways – check out this chain again and see if it’s still relevant to you and your friends.
