Was alright for that midweek chinese food coma you’ve been craving. Id definitely eat there again, but not every day. It has quick delivery as well and Ive never not been greeted without a smile.
Horrible service. Ordered delivery & told 45 min to one hour. After an hour and a half called and told another 20 minutes. When food finally came after 2 hours order was wrong. Multiple fried rice dishes…chicken rice, shrimp rice. When I called to let them know the only got 2 dishes right they accused me of trying to scam them. Have ordered from here many times and never called them before with a wrong order. I told them this and said I would give them back the wrong orders as it made no difference if they threw them out or I did. They insisted I was scamming them. Hubby took the whole order back, and asked for our money back. Will never go there again. Horrible rude people.
Worst food ive had.. We ordered the basic chinese food options ( beef chow mein, chicken balls, ginger beef, and rice) it took an hour to be delivered which is pretty standard in calgary but the food was terrible. Usually the chow mein has chow mein noodles but this had bean sprouts (which could have been a misunderstanding. Not a big deal) but the beef was clearly from a can. It was a grayish pink color and it made me question to even eat it. Turns out the chow mein was the best thing we ordered. The chicken balls were very tough in texture and the ginger beef was extremely oily and it didn’t even seem to have beef in it. It was more of a fluffy oil filled batter. The biggest problem with the food was that everything except the chow mein had a terrible after taste. It was almost a chemical taste. Our guess is that they used old oil to cook with or they cooked everything together and the oil grabbed the flavour of so many different foods that it just tasted really off. It got to the point where we couldn’t even finish one plate of food because of this taste when usually you eat a minimum of three plates of chinese food! The price was expected. No complaints there. But the take out regular chinese food items were terrible. I have never written a bad review before and i can easily say i will never eat there again. Ps. No fortune cookies! (Hoping i dont get food poisoning. ..)
I love their wor wonton soup. The Pho is ok, nothing spectacular. The prices are good, and it’s close by. I like this place
Nothing fresh about Pang Pang. Just ordered some basic dishes. Pineapple chicken balls were just thick deep-fried pieces of batter. (Where’s the chicken?) The chicken fried rice was the same. No greens or chicken. (Again, where’s the chicken?) And the beef in the beef/broccoli was chewy and broccoli, soggy. Very disappointed. I always keep Chinese food leftovers for a second meal, but just can’t do it this time. Bills Peking is further away, but worth the drive.
Great asian cuisine. The food is great, and the owner Mike is a great guy and an even better chef. Top notch Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai. Best ginger beef/chicken in the city!
