My hubbie had the grilled cheese burger, I had the California Cobb salad, which is always tasty! The nom namaste flatbread is a tasty treat. A delightful surprise was the blonde house brew on tap that was dirt cheap and went down down smooth!
Always very nice staff and OJs in general has gotten better with the menu. Definitely enjoy going to this spot as a regular place to grab a pint. Recommended for a simple and positive night out and day of the week! Kudos OJ Hollick.
I’ve been to this OJs several times and it is always hit or miss. Usually miss. I love the food but often my orders are messed up and the service is not to par to surrounding restaurants. I used to work in the serving area for several years so I understand people have bad days but when it’s consistently pretty crappy service it’s a letdown. Which is a shame because OJs food is fantastic when it’s made right.
Busy but pretty good choice on a Tuesday night!. We have been to O.J’s several times before but have never experienced such a busy night at this location! We waited for about fifteen minutes to be seated inside. Service was pretty fast considering the amount of people. Our server was very friendly which always makes a huge difference. I ordered the Club Turkey Wrap which in my opinion had too much lettuce, it was mostly 75% lettuce. The dill fries were delicious though served with dill dip! Please try! We also tried the $0.35 for wings – not bad! We recommend the Cajun wings, which is actually really good for the price! And also since this is a bar – type restaurant I do not recommend the butter chicken nor naan bread. I am sure they would taste a million times better at an authentic Indian restaurant. Another negative would be that the music was on a bit too loud for comfort. I believe restaurants should have music playing a lower because generally people go there to socialize not dance. But besides that O.J’s is ideal for a casual night out with friends!
I love OJ’s but this one is horrible. Completely lacking direction from a manager. Someone from head office should step in and set it right.
Will Never Go Back. My wife and I decided to have a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon, and figured we’d give this Original Joe’s location a chance. After finding a place to sit (wasn’t overly busy), we waited 15 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order, another 10 minutes for the drinks, and after waiting another half hour without any other service and without being approached by any other staff, decided to leave and find somewhere that wanted to serve us (Thank You Tony Roma’s!). I have no idea if we were just forgotten or someone was having a bad day, but considering this is a service industry, we’ll never go back, and I have a feeling it’ll be awhile before we attempt a visit at any other Original Joe’s location.
