The Fab View and Brew. A totally relaxed atmosphere, country like which I love, the food is nutritious, better than my home cooking, driving west on 22x is spectacular. A Cozy and quaint old house converted into this cozy restaurant, filled with local artists paintings and gifts. A place for the local farmers and country folk to meet each other in a relaxed atmosphere. Customers go there to read the paper, play cards and drink their tea where else can you do that?….Looking at the past reviews I have to mention the comment made by Sepp insinuating that the owners are racist based on the fact that they weren’t seated, absolute nonsense, don’t play the race card when it’s the service that you had an issue with, . they are often understaffed and get really busy……that’s all it is……go back I promise you won’t be disappointed.
We are staying at Azuridge and we Just arrived at this place. The owner refused to acknowledge us as my husband is chinese and I am middle eastern… We stood at the door for 10 minutes before we realized we were not welcomed. The waitress refused to sit us as we’ll. avoid!
A Hidden Gem. The owners Larry and Lynne go above and beyond in their hospitality, remembering your name and face each time you come in. The food is amazing, we especially love the weekend feauture menus. The Sunday night turkey dinner is such a delicious home-cooked meal, it reminds me of the Thanksgiving meals my mom used to make. The food is always fresh, flavorful and plentifu, you never go home hungry. But if you do have a big appetite, there is always a full shelf of yummy pies and cakes. The atmosphere is casual, yet welcoming, with seating both inside and on the veranda. It is also very afforable for a night out, which is always a bonus. We would highly recommend this place and will continue to go to this hidden gem.
Are You Kidding?. After reading St.Jeans review I felt that I needed to write a review. Obviously Mr. St. Jean is used to the Fast Food Macdonalds Service you get in the city. I go on a weekly bases to the Priddis View and Brew, and have had nothing but excellent service and excellent food. If you are going to the Priddis View and Brew you need to sit back and relax and enjoy the meal that you are getting. Because Lynne doesn’t serve anything from a box. Its all homemade! And for me, GOOD food takes time. Not seconds!And the treatment and Attitude that Mr. St.Jean showed toward the young girl and Lynne was shameful. When you go out to a restaurant you should show up with a happy attitude instead of finding fault in every single thing as Mr. St.Jean has done. Just look at his past reviews. Did it ever cross your mind that it might have been the first day for the young girl?So to all of the people who will be reading these reviews, go to the Priddis View and Brew and experience the great food and service for your self. Dont allow a bully to lead you astray to this great find. I recommend going for the Sunday Turkey Dinner! You will absolutely die with the meal that is put in front of you! Reservations Recommended. Yah, its that good!
Feels Like Home. Every time I am at Priddis View & Brew it feels like home. The atmosphere is very calming and cozy and the food is my idea of comfort food. I have always had a very welcoming experience here and the food is always very good. I enjoy looking at the local arts and crafts around the restaurant and the patio is amazing. My favourite meal would have to be turkey dinner, yummy. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant, even if it is just for a latte.
Comfort food. I love the view and brew! The food is always good and the service has always come with a smile. You cant ever go wrong with anything on the menu but my personal favourite is the Mac and cheese and the Shepard’s pie. I have been going to the PVB for years and always feel welcome and cozy, just like being at home. And if you haven’t filled up on Lynn’s wonderful food I strongly suggest that you try the Apple crumble, it’s like heaven in a bowl!
Poor Service. It’s a very small restaurant and with a small menu and yet service was very poor, it wasn’t that busy, 3 tables, 10 people. I got my food and was looking at it because I had no utensils to eat it with. I got my cup of coffee but no cream and sugar and no spoon, I do not like my coffee black. The young girl never prepared the table ahead of time so that her customers got the food and drink after the utensils were on the table. The menu is small yet what I wanted on the menu they ran out. Food was good and prices were acceptable. I was not impressed.PS Their restrooms looked like they were not clean in weeks and one had no toilet paper, disgusting.
