Great place to relax after work. Good local pub feel with great service. Friday has nachos on special and they’re the best here. Layers of cheese and whatever meat you want. Great value. If you get drunk enough, go sing karaoke most nights. Avoid the wings, not so great.Sal says: Just try it (3/5)
If you like Karaoke, then this is the place for you. They have an electronic submission system so no more huge books and pieces of paper! You can make special requests if you don’t see it and Brad the DJ may be able to find it and download it for you.The kitchen closes at 10pm so make sure you get your food orders in before the karoke starts! Wood fired pizza is their specialty. Friday nights is half off nachos. The food is average pub fare. The servers here are pretty good. The way they have the tables set up makes it hard for them to get to you when it is packed on a Friday night. They are popular for their Karaoke, so make sure you come early and get your songs in right away so that you get more than one turn to sing! yegfoodie.com
Not impressed. My friends and I went to B Street to sing karaoke. The D J came up to us and told us we had to drink or we would not be allowed to sing. We were going to order food. Why does it matter if we should drink or not? We were going to be giving them service anyway.
Very Disappointing! We will NOT be returning. The wood fire stove is a great marketing ploy which would imply that this pizza has all the potential to be great and yet it was anything BUT great. In fact the combination of VERY cheap meats and bland sauce, and unflavourful crust left a rather unpleasant taste in the mouth that even the beer could not wash away. The last time we had pizza this cheap was from Chicago pizza on Whyte Ave many years ago. At $24 for a 12 inch pizza we expected much more in the way of quality ingredients for the price. We will NOT be back!
Ok I have been to a lot of Karaoke bars but this one is amazing. Incredible song selection. Fantastic sound. There are computers around the room to pick your songs and you can even use your phone as the karaoke book and send songs from your table. Amazing friendly Staff. (I guess a couple of the reviews I read had bad experiences but I guess that can happen anywhere?) All I know is myself and my friends ALWAYS have a blast there. The lack of a deep fryer is strange for a pub but believe me. The wood fired oven is amazing and more than makes up for it. Yes if it’s crowded your food might take a little longer but believe me. It’s worth it. The BEST pizza and cal-zone’s in the city. The last meal I had there was their steak and it was unbelievable. (I would order it one down from what you usually order. If you order medium, maybe order medium rare ect) The atmosphere has always been friendly when we are there. Like another reviewer said. It’s like an Edmonton version of Cheers. This is by FAR our favorite night out when we are going for Karaoke or just a night out in a friendly pub for a couple of beers. ohhhh Mon and Wed are wing nights where wings are still only 20c. Yes they aren’t the huge drumsticks but they are only TWENTY CENTS!! lol Karaoke is every Wed Thurs Friday and Saturday. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You will probably see us there!! 🙂
Terrible service and expensive food.We were really excited to go to B Street for dinner after driving past this place for years. We ordered our meals and it took 45 minutes to get our food. They forgot my boyfriend’s Caesar Salad and never apologized for the inconvenience. I ordered a 6 inch sandwich for $9 and it was ONLY the sandwich – no side. It was mediocre at best. We will never go back!
Wood Fired Delight!. My honey and I just finished our meal at at B StreetWe love pepperoni, green pepper, and onions on our pizza. We decided to share these ingredients in a Calzone insteadThe waitress suggested adding chicken and we immediately agreedWe then inquired about the salad and she politely suggested the GreekWe enjoyed a warm ambience and a cool ale and cheered the Oilers! Not too long after….We received a piping hot, aromatic, Calzone just the way we dreamt itThe Salad was astoundingly fresh and the dressing was robust and sharpLots of Feta, but I wasn’t complainingWe shared the Calzone and a salad and we both felt more than sufficiently suffuncified by this eating experience.I think this is what defines this place….EXPERIENCEOnly one complaint: Please use Kalamata Olives instead of Black Sliced Olives.Well done Natalya, your wood oven skills are unmatched, and I always love what emerges from your oven.Rest?? Frequently….
