We have tried this restaurant several times. Each time we hope the bad service and food we had the last time was just an anomaly. Unfortunately from our experience the food is mediocre and particularly expensive for what you get. Way too expensive. There are much better restaurants in this price range.
There were so many things wrong with our visit to Bistro 76, that it’s almost comical. We had dirty cutlery with food crusted in the fork tines. The waitress brought the completely wrong wine (white instead of red) and shrugged it off when we complained. The pasta had WAY too much lemon, to the point that it upset my stomach. Again, the waitress didn’t seem to care when she asked how the food was and I said it was overwhelmingly acidic/lemony. Otherwise the food was okay, not great, but the prices are way too high for the quality (canned clams in the linguini vongole).The manager seemed aware that we had had some issues, but instead of asking what the problems were, he just brought a shot of limoncello (yay, more lemon!) and hoped that made us happy.Terrible service, sub-par food, unreasonable prices. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
