This restaurant is my most frequently Skip the Dishes pick. Love the food – not like anything I’ve had before! Always fresh and tasty. Pupusas always a great hit. I ordered the combo platter, pupussa and refried beans a few minutes ago. Can’t wait for it to arrive!
Very tasty! I have ordered from here through Skip the Dishes and have also ate at the restaurant twice. Highly recommend their tostadas! Very filling, tasty and great value for the price.
Feels like you are walking into a grandmothers home! Not the nicest part of town but their pupusas are great, the men I was with found the accents of the waitresses intoxicating and their pineapple margaritas are great. Good value for the money!
Service was friendly but very slow. Ambience was severely lacking in charm but I would have forgiven that if the food had been good. Only 1 person of our table of 8 liked their food. The shredded chicken in my tacos was dry and tasteless. On top of that, the portions were ridiculously small for the price – the mains were the size of appetizers. The bill came to over $100 for 4 mains and 5 appetizers (no drinks). thehungryhost.com
No service. Awful service just got seated and ignored. no service for a half hour no drinks …
Fantastic. Went here for the first time today for a late lunch. I can honestly say it was fantastic, I loved the El Salvadorian twist, I liked the homemade tasting food, I thought the atmosphere is homey and fit the feel of the restaurant. Would most definitely recommend.
White people need to calm down. If you’re not salvadorian or have not visited el salvador and tasted proper/authentic dishes.. you can’t judge the food here. i was born in el salvador and the food at this restaurant is the closest to what was available back home. sure, the service isn’t the best SOMETIMES! but that’s because they’re a very busy restaurant, they’ll usually tell you beforehand. if you’re going for pupusas, you’re always going to wait a while longer. but if you go earlier than dinner time, it’s never too long of a wait for any food and the service is more personal, because they have less customers to attend to.
