Nice spot. Ordered the brisket po boy and salt and pepper wings to start. My friend was disappointed that she couldn’t have the waffles and chicken because their waffle iron was broken. She ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. Wings were very good and flavorful all the way through. Brisket was very good, my friend said the there was a lot of coating on the chicken. They serve half pints which I like so I can try a couple different beers.

Go here so often that this review is just a collection of food and drink over a year. Daravara serves good cold brews and decent bar food. Scotch egg is a nice dish to see if youre truly hungry for more food. Honestly wouldnt even had ordered this if it wasnt in Masterchef Canada. Pretty good egg with a layer of sausage meat, served with cheddar cubes and pickles. The cauliflower was just aight. There was a lot on the plate but just needed more flavor. Most of the burgers here are not bad, really hit on miss if the bread is hard as shit or nice and soft. Cant remember these damn names but the one with the egg is good, because egg on burgers are dope. Also the Peameal sandwich is pretty good here. I highly recommend.Located across from Duchess on 124st and is a pretty nice spot to hangout for a Crown Float or 2. They also offer brunch, so im gonna have to check that out sometime soon. Service is hit or miss, sometimes really good or just terrible. But its a bar essentially and the food is above average.Sal says: Just Try It (3.5/5)@colingrimard says: True 20oz pints for a great price. Love the beer choices with a rotating tap also. Small food selection but enjoy everything I’ve had on there. Service can be really slow or great, depending on who you get.

The Irish waiter was the most attentive, and friendly bloke I have ever come across. Absolute nice guy!The burnt cauliflower would have been better if the sauce was served on the side. My friend’s chicken burger looked good.

Went to Daravara for the first time for brunch a couple of weeks ago. I like the layout with the garage doors that open up in the front, makes it nice and bright. Service was friendly but the food took quite awhile to come out and the place was busy but not full. I found the food was decent but the portions are ridiculously huge. I had the buttermilk biscuit benny and couldn’t even finish half. The biscuit was delicious but you get two huge portions of it and it could easily have been served with two eggs on one portion. I’m also partial to hollandaise instead of their country gravy but overall it was good. My eggs were also a bit inconsistent, I asked for medium poached and one was perfect but the other was too runny. The hash that comes with most of their breakfasts was really good, but again a huge portion. Overall the food is solid but not at the top of my brunch list.

Came in on Saturday around noon for brunch and found a pretty full restaurant but didn’t have to wait for a table. The portions are huge, make sure you are hungry. They have a great potato hash. Very crispy potatoes with great flavor. The only knock was that the food was a little slow to come out. It looked like there was only one guy in the kitchen so they may have just been a person short today. Will be back again.

Suggested by friend to come here. Cute place, I like how the door/windows open up. Waitress was friendly. I ordered the southern fried chicken burger it was OK for 16$. The fried chicken was delicious but there was too much slaw for my liking. The fries were a bit bland(even though it had some kind of Cajun seasoning) & they have a home-made ketchup that comes with it. I believe it’s whisky ketchup, it was a bit watery and plain. Couldn’t taste any whisky. My friend ordered the brisket po boy which he LOVED.

Excellent food and a few really great servers. I like that they have vegetarian options. The one criticism would be that the vegetarian dishes tend to have the same flavour profiles – smoked tofu, pickled vegetables, etc – so adding something different to the mix would be nice.
