Chic, local eatery specializing in brunch-style food for all occasions. We came with a large group, and were seated promptly by our awesome hostess. All the food was delicious! Their plain burger is simple, but a perfectly cooked patty and an amazingly soft brioche bun with pickles. We saw the patties being made, and could taste the freshness. The pirate spiced fries are a lovely, fresh-cut accompaniment. The Big Red One Sandwich was tasty, the meat was cooked well, and the sauce was full of flavour. The Meat Market was tasty, although we would have liked more vegetables accompanying the meat to balance the saltiness and taste. The only drawback, and this was a big one, was that the server didn’t give us our bill and just charged us at the till. We didn’t even get a chance to look over the order – and it was large – and so we paid. I realized later on that the bill seemed larger than it should have been. No matter what we added up, including all the little extras, drinks, and tips, we still seemed like we overpaid by about $50. I think it was an honest mistake, but I wish that our server put a little more effort into double-checking and giving us a chance to review our bill. That’s too bad since this was the only blemish amongst an excellent meal.

Unfortunately I cannot review the food as we never received any because the service was appalling. My 2 sons and I waited 45 mins after ordering before we were told by our server that our order hadnt been put through their system. She apologized, assured us that our food would be out in a few minutes and offered to comp my sons beverages. 30mins later we were still watching other diners come in, get seated and get their food. No explanation given. We left.

Loved it!!! From the atmosphere to the graffitied walls to the friendly staff and to top it all off brunch to die for. Definitely worth the trip here!

I met up with a couple of my girlfriends for brunch here. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very kind hostess and our server was super nice as well. We ordered pancakes with bacon and their garlic sausage, their eggs with back bacon and toast (arrived not toasted) and their back bacon schnitzel grilled cheese. When our food came, apparently the kitchen had dropped the grilled cheese on the floor, so they were remaking it. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it was a plain grilled cheese without the schnitzel, egg, and hollandaise sauce. When we suggested there may have been a misunderstanding, there was no apology. Rather, we we given an excuse as to why there was a mix up. There was only ONE grilled cheese on the menu. We still don’t understand the mix up.. The bacon was good, eggs were your regular eggs, hollandaise sauce was savoury, fries were not crispy, and their bread was nothing spectacular. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend coming here for brunch. There are many other places in Edmonton that would offer a great brunch with better service. Had they dealt with the mix up a bit better, I would have a different perspective. But when you are in the hospitality industry, your service is everything. This establishment lacks just that.

Brunch Pirate Poutine, Broke Back Breakfast, Sausage Party,Mr. Pink Sandwich and The Big Red OneBrunch/lunch/sandwich lovers have a new place to try out. This place is pretty good. First time here got the brunch poutine. It had 2 fried eggs, hollandaise on top of a whole big plate of poutine with vegetarian gravy and curds. This is a knockout of a dish, like it will knock you out after eating it. Broke Back bfast (no homo) had refried beans, 2 eggs, fries, rye and a sampling of all the in house meats. This is a heart bfast as well and you get to taste a lot of the meats they make in house. For lunch, you should try the sausage party (no homo), had LOs own house smoke sausages. The 3 flavors were garlic uke, hot italian and yellow curry. All were good but the garlic and curry took the crown. This dish also came with preserved pickles, sauerkraut and some dipping mustard. Really good appetizer/share plate. Mr. Pink had smoked ham, swiss malted honey mustard, mayo, and citrus dressed arugula on toasted russian rye. The arugula really went well with the smoked ham, almost as good as referencing Reservoir Dogs with the name of this sandwich. Im a fan. Big Red had smoked corned beef with malted honey mustard, mayo, on toasted Russian rye. Rye might be the only bread they have here, but its great, and this sandwich was so juicy good. Would definitely eat again.LO is on 120st where the famous Doughnut Party and Cafe Linnea is. Its probably a bad thing to be next to DP cause its an easy go to for dessert. You can buy the sausages they make for your next bbq also, so thats always good. Service was fast, friendly and the food is bomb. Sal says: Just eat it (4/5) @kevinbradleyjohnson says: I was nearly satiated with enough meat in my mouth, but there’s always room for more.#yegeats #yeg #yegdt #food #foodie #foodporn #foodgasm #foodpics #foodstagram #instafood #delicious #hungry #yummy #dinner #lunch #brunch #breakfast

I Absolutely love this place. The food has flavor and kick. The staff is friendly and quick. The only thing I could ask for is more meat in your sandwiches. Keep up the good work!
