Favourite place to eat in Calgary. The rendang and laksa are some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Their peanut sauce and sambal is delicious and the workers are very friendly.
I love this place! Perfect place to get my tempeh fill. I My favorite is the Balinese platter but they have many other delicious items. Located at the Crossroads Market.
If I could give these guys a zero I would.. not based on their food but based on their ethics. I asked for 2 beef samosas for kid. When we bit into them they were chicken. I showed the girl and she insisted they were beef. As I took it apart and took out a piece of chicken she deferred to her older counterpart who also insisted it was chicken . I showed her the piece of chicken and she said what do you want me to do about it. I pointed to the samosa which through the Crack was showing brown meat. She told me that too was chicken. I said ok just refund my money. She gave me 1.50 which is half. It was the weirdest and most annoying interaction over 2 samosas. Hardly worth my time
Very good authentic Laksa and the grilled chicken is tasty, the rice came with it got such nice smell too…Give it a try everyone. The chicken was cook to its level, not dry from being grilled and the laksa got such rich flavour.
I love Indonesian food and Swani does a very good job with the flavours. This is one of my favourite places to eat in Crossroads Market. Her love for the food shows in her home cooking. Start with the Beef Rendang and work your way through the menu. Keep up the good work!
Another good dining choice at the crossroads farmers market. The chicken skewer plate was good although next time I will ask for the peanut sauce on the side. The entire dish was drowning in sauce and was just too much for me.
