Chef Jesse creates the most decadent creme brle I have ever tasted. The products she uses in her creations are top quality and her attention to detail is amazing. I’m always delighted by the new features that she creates from week to week. The hardest part of my visit is figuring out which one! My favourite part of the experience is watched the sugar being torched and smelling that heavenly aroma. Then you get the fun part of breaking the crispy top and listening to that satisfying crunch. It’s seriously amazing!
The crme brle at Burnt to Order is unlike any I’ve ever had before. I treat my friends to it on a regular basis. Each brle is burned by hand in front of you, to perfection. There’s nothing more satisfying than smashing through that perfect layer of burnt sugar in anticipation of the crme brle below.There’s a Chef Series that changes from week to week, making it easy to plan your trip around flavour inventions. The menu changes seasonally, and thankfully the very first one I ever tried has (so far) remained on the menu: Cracker Jacked – Vanilla bean crme with Sugar Creek kettle corn and in house made salted caramel sauce. It’s exquisite. Do yourself a favour and get there soon. No one else is making crme brle like this.
