Gravity is located in inglewood next to Bite, and we were looking for somewhere to get late night coffee on a Friday evening and ended up here, and are so glad we did. The place was full when we got there and we ended up getting the last 2 seats at the bar. There is live music there Friday and Saturday evenings, however it is a charge of $5/person. Because we were at the bar and couldn’t see the band we’ll, the owner said he would only charge us for 1 person which we appreciated. We both ordered chai lattes which were delicious, and a piece of carrot cake to share. The dessert is pricier at $7/piece, however the cake was very good. We really loved the atmosphere and the service we received and will definitely return. This would be a great place for an intimate date if you’re looking to go somewhere after dinner. They are also licensed.
This place is my absolute favorite cafe I’ve found in Calgary. They make my favorite drink (the best Dulce you will ever have… ever.). A great selection of lunchtime food like salads and paninis, but they also serve a hot curry and wine and cheese for the late evening crowd! The ambiance is lovely, and staff are great! Even when it gets busy they are always smiling and keeping people relaxed in my experience.
This place is dope. Will definitely be back with my lady to relax and enjoy the ambiance. They have a really awesome, but simple, menu that ive always enjoyed choosing from. Double thumbs up
Coffee? Wine? Desserts? Sandwiches? Whatever you’re in the mood for, this little tucked away place has it. Great seating with a vintage style to it. They sometimes have life music as well, though I find that with the high ceilings it gets a little echo-y in there.
Very nice interior, great atmosphere (especially with live music days), okay espresso, a little over-priced desserts. Staff is usually friendly. It’s a nice cafe to go read a book for a few hours with some coffee/tea.
Tucked in right beside Bite, this cozy coffeehouse serves the traditional caffeine fixes, and also offers local beer brews as well. My favourite has always been the dulce, which has a strong tone that balances well with the silky texture of milk and the dulce. Always a great treat paired with one of their delicious cheesecakes in a jar! One of my go-to places for catching up with friends or trying to catch up on work, as the ambience has always been relaxed and inviting.
Recently discovered this coffee joint and I’m sure happy I did! The staff are friendly and ambiance is great whether you need to catch up with a friend or be productive on your laptop. And most importantly, great coffee! lemonlimelisa.com
