I have been coming to the original Reds for a few years, I thought I would try the Ramsey location, Reds has always had an casual and homey type feel to it, always very comfortable, the service has always been half decent and the servers are usually friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, I didn’t find the food exceptional, it was good and consistent to what I have become used to with reds, and as chance would have it I ended up and the new Reds on 10th street the next day.

Only been here once, but I really enjoyed everything. I snagged a table for two even though I was by myself (loner alert!) and it was comfy and great for people watching. The service was great and the classic Eggs Benny was up there with the best in the city. The hashbrowns were flavorful and well seasoned. I stayed for almost an hour and a half and no one rushed me to pay and leave. Highly recommend this place! *Update – been here multiple times now and with the service, food quality and taste I have to now say this (and diner deluxe) is my favorite breakfast place!
We tried this place on a lazy Sunday. Ordered old fashioned pancake, waffle, burger and Mediterranean wrap with hash browns.Everything seems average with slightly upscale prices. Servers are friendly but on slightly clumsier side (three spills in 40-45 minutes).Burger was decent, fries were not fresh and seemed refried. Pancake was nothing to rave about. Mediterranean wrap is average too – nothing stood. Will definitely choose OEB over this if we have to go for a breakfast/brunch.
Came here for breakfast this morning. Was a wait but we didn’t mind. Got in and sat at the counter. Seats were not comfortable and did not move. Serve was less than interested. Got us coffee and tea, took our orders and then gave us the bill. Didn’t ask how the food was or if we needed anything. Was also incredibly loud between patrons, wait staff, kitchen crew and the slamming of clean utensils back into their holders. My boyfriend and I were practically shouting at each other to hear. Food took longer than it should have to come out considering the amount of staff in the kitchen. Boyfriends Benedict was cold – great. Mine was alright, nothing spectacular though. Don’t think I’ll be wanting to come back.
Great vibe and service. Burger a little dry and the wife said she wouldn’t order the Cobb Salad again. $1 extra charge for house mustard for the burger. Beer from Last Best was terrific. We’ll try it again and have breakfast items. They looked good coming out. Beer goes with eggs benny, right ?
Ordered the artichoke and prosciutto Benny with salad instead of potatoes. The hollandaise sauce and salad dressing were delicious, I believe it was a pesto or basil hollandaise and strawberry vinaigrette for the salad? Only complaint is my eggs were way over poached. Asked for them to be medium (whites should be cooked and yolk runny) but came out hard so no runny egg 🙁 and that’s the best part!
