It was a sunny Saturday aft wandering around Inglewood and we wanted a spot to park on a patio. Everybody’s seen this place but I had never been — it’s in an old fire hall. The vibe is cute. The service was good. We were there mainly for drinks. Nothing on the menu really jumped out, it looked like typical bar food. But I did ask the waitress for some horseradish for my Caesar and it was like, BAM. Definitely homemade, wicked good. Based on that alone I’ll be back.

Been here about 5 times and every time is because everything else in Inglewood is closed. I knew the food is going to be gross before I even get it. I had the enchiladas this time and wow was that ever a bad idea. Just a dish filled with cow manure is how I can discribe it. I picked through it and found about 5 bite sized pieces of chicken and the rest was way over cooked slop rice and too much red and green peppers. I have to say it was just horrible. I can’t give this place anymore chances. They need a major over hall in ever aspect other than the decor. That happens to be the only semi charming thing here. Never a good meal. Never a good waitress. Just stay away please. A 1.5 because I am trying to be nice about it

Came here for a quick dinner on friday. My boyfriend and i were looking for a pub type restaurant in inglewood. He hasn’t been in inglewood for a meal before. I have been to 500 cucina and the nash. We drove past the hose and hound, and he thot it looked intriguing. I was not totally set on it but we ended up going there. We walked in and of course it used to be a fire hall so thats what it looked like. We grabbed a spot. it did take our server a bit to come get us water and and a menu. I decided on just getting chicken fingers and my boyfriend got the chicken philly melt. He liked his melt and i thought my chicken fingers were just ok, there was not much taste to it. For $12 i didn’t think it was worth it. I would rather get the chicken from A&W lol. now i can say i have been to hose and hound. lapetitteshar.com

This is a comfortable local pub with tonnes of history(and am I ever glad it was saved from being sold and taken away from Inglewood!) located right in one of Canada’s top neighbourhoods(it’s official!) it’s an old firehouse that isn’t pretentious in the least. Food is decent, with(along with typical pub style offerings) gluten-free or vegetarian options. Drinks are basic but readily plentiful, and servers are fairly quick on the job. All in all, a place my friends and I keep coming back to when we just want to feel comfortable. bighairandhighheels.com

Small Portion. As it is I ordered the 1/2 portion of sweet potato fries & wow is tiny for $5.25 I was expecting the appetizer at $9 where it says 1/2 the portion, I must have received 1/2 of that portion. yikes. I picked it up & left a $3 tip… haha Live & Learn I guess. I have the picture where to upload??

Definitely Not Going Back. My family and I went here expecting good things, since my sister loves it. I was sorely disappointed. I started my meal with a extra spicy caesar, and it tasted like pure salt with a dash of clamato. I couldn’t drink more than a few sips. We ordered ribs as an appetizer, which the server was at least honest about what sauce were good and not, we ended up getting Cajun, and if’s that’s one that tastes good that tells me a lot about the other sauces, because it tasted like nothing. Our entrees, arrived, the lasagna wasn’t bad, the enchilatas were awful, dry, over cooked, all the sauce had been cooked away. Lastly the Philly steak melt, again, the meat was dry and over cooked, barely any meet on it anyways as it was all onions and green peppers, barely any red pepper and literally one mushroom. I was hoping at least the fries and gravy would be the saving grace, I again was dissapointed. They were dry, and the gravy was a disgusting mix of sweet and spicy, tasted more like a sauce than a gravy. Absolutely awful. I will never eat here again.
