This is one of my favorite restaurants that I visited in Calgary. It is located in a beautiful and calm area of the city. The pizza was very thin, crunchy, full of fresh ingredients, and very tasty. It is definitely worth what they charge, even if it is on the more expensive side.
Ive been here numerous times and its always good vibes great pizza and excellent service! A definite must go if youre in the inglewood area!
I really wanted to like this place. I don’t usually care too much about the atmosphere (I’ll eat good food anywhere) but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into Without Papers. The hot air that hit me as soon as I got to the top step was very welcoming on the cold day. The restaurant smelled great, I was surrounded by friends, 90s music was playing, and Home Alone was projected on the wallscherry on top of the cake. I was feeling so good that even the most mediocre pizza should have seemed amazing. But it didn’t. My friend and I shared the Margherita and the Baby Doll. Both were terrible: they tasted like too much salt and vinegar. The chicken on the Baby Doll was reminiscent of shawarma, which didn’t seem to work with the other flavours. And towards the end, the Baby Doll was a disgusting, soggy mess. Was it edible? Yes. Enjoyable? No.
Last week I ordered off SkipTheDishes and they forgot my order and it took over 2 hours for it to arrive and I live about 10 min away. Since the food was good I decided to give it another try today…bad decision. My order was for 3 pizzas with extra tomato sauce, 2 orders of olives and 1 beet salad. It came a little faster today but my order was delivered missing 1 pizza and extra sauce and the beet salad! It was almost $40 worth. I called the restaurant directly to let them know to which they asked for my contact info and they never called back. I chatted with SkipTheDishes and they contacted them and was told the remainder of my order would be delivered. Over 30 min later another delivery driver arrived and they delivered 3 wilted brown Caesar salads instead!!! I would not recommend this to anyone who doesnt have hours to waste or unlimited patience. My order was for $116 and I will no longer order from Without Papers again.
We got delivery through skip the dishes and thought it was the best margherita pizza we have had in Calgary! The meatballs were ok, a bit dry! If you like Neapolitan style pizza then this place is for you!
I tried their Parma (prosciutto) pizza. I found it to be okay, but nothing special and I was surprised that the description did not mention that the prosciutto was not cooked. The restaurant was also quite noisy with loud disco music playing. It was good music, but it would have made conversation easier if it was played at a lower volume.
