We ordered our food and had to wait almost 2 hours past our pickup time. They forgot to record our meal twice and then went on to blame us for the mistake. I would not recommend this to anyone. They treated us with disrespect and clearly did not value customers.
Ordered out, time was said 45 minutes and food was here in 20 minutes. Portions were perfect, enough for 3 meals. Paid debit and the tip option was great, not the usual or none. %5 and up. Driver turned his back when I was doing the tip and payment. Oh ya and the food was amazing.Better than I’ve had here in the Deer,
We’ve lived in Alberta for almost 2 years. Red Deer has a number of places for Chinese food but the China house is been my best experience so far.We always order take out and I find that the portion sizes are reasonable. The food is good, and even for lunch the next day. My family including four children, have tried at least seven dishes all of them have been good. The food is made really quickly and has always been waiting for me when I go to pick it up in the time allotted.I have not had the same experience as some others, so try the China House!
Small portions crappy service and late delivery. When I called to order they didn’t even say hello. I had to start the convo. She wouldn’t give me a total she just told me 40 min and hung up the phone. She didn’t get a phone number or anything. When we got the order over an hour later we got a grocery bag of food. We had ordered 6 items. Normally at any other place we get a decent sized box of food for the same price. I brought this up w the delivery guy and he just laughed at me and said that you had to order 250 dollars worth of food to get that much food. The 6 items only fed 3 of us for supper and a snack. And as we were unpacking we found we were missing items and we’re given others that we didn’t want nor do we like. So all in all poor customer service, small portion sizes and late delivery.
Very impressed! The vegetables tasted incredibly fresh, food was ready very fast and portions were a good size for the price. The free crab and cheese stuffed wontons were a nice surprise and tasted great. Would definitely eat here again. A contender for one of red deers best Chinese food places.
Best in Red Deer. Had the combo with chicken chop suey… Delicious, fast and above average portions! I’ll be going back!
