This is your average Breakfast joint. Maybe above average they actually do a pretty good job. Surprisingly always impressed with the service. Moons Over my Hammy is also a popular late night snack after the bar.
It’s a Denny’s and we all end up here for some unknown reason. Wait staff is overworked and it shows, though service was friendly. Food was slow to table but tasted ok. Just one of those places where you can’t help but imagine the kitchen.
It’s now so commercial it’s not the same diner it was 10 years ago. Eggs are not poached so much as microwaved in a form (or something like this). I have had a few meals here and Denny’s is like what Jim Gaffigan says- the big yellow sign that you can find for late night cravings. It seems clean and the staff are very nice. There is ok value, but you get what you pay for.
