This is by far our favorite restaurant in Red Deer. The food is always great and the staff is amazing. If you are just going for an appetizer or a full meal, you will never be disappointed.
Went for supper here recently and had one of the worst meals yet for a local restaurant. Looking at the menu, the selections are limited and the prices high, a sign of a good meal to come, nothing could be further from the truth. We had the chicken and brisket combo for two and while the presentation was great, the food was awful. Its hard to imagine a chef can roast a chicken until its black on the outside, and so dry on the inside it was inedible, but that’s what we were served. The brisket was better but had a lot of fat, so half of it was waste. The carrots, brussel sprouts and cauliflower had a burnt flavor and so hard that you needed a steak knife to cut them. Also there was real bacon mixed in which we assume was for flavor, but it was raw. Over all the meal was wasted and taken back, we felt sorry for the waitress as she was very apologetic for a meal that she had nothing to do with other than serve it. We will say that the manager came over to apologize, gave us a free breakfast ticket and took the meal off of our bill, thank you for that. We feel that this place is trying to hard to be an upscale restaurant and missing the key fact that you have to also prepare really good food that’s fresh, flavorful, with the meat juicy and tender, none of which we found here.

Didn’t really faze our server either when we mentioned it, and that maybe she should take it off the buffet line… Still got charged full price too. Def not the best brunch in town.
