While the dish I had was pretty good I was surprised when I got bill. One dish and a beer at lunch was $24. Dish was $13, beer was $6.75 and the rice which I thought came with it was $3.75. Usually I would order spring rolls or something to start but they were $10 as well so I skipped that.
I’ve eaten here a few times now. The food is delicious and service was excellent each visit. They accept cash/debit/credit. Great place for authentic Thai food!
I think Mams was having an off night…the service was a bit slow and the waitress seem very unorganized or preoccupied. Food was okay, not bad but not fresh and vibrant as what I was expecting. I will give it another go, but maybe not for a while.
This was ok not great but just ok. To be fair I didnot go overboard on the menu items. Shrimp werebland and kind of dry. Egg foo young was pretty much tasteless. Service was quite good and no ambiance to speak of. Having said all that my friend had ordered a grilled cheese and fries. I kid you not those were the best fries we have had in Red Deer. We are not sure what their secret is but I recommendthose fries for sure. Will try Mam’s Mai Thai again.
