  Decent enough place for a quick meal. The veggie burger is decent although nothing remarkable. I enjoy the flavour and spice of their sauces and rice. I don’t mind the atmosphere, they have interesting decor.

  Good chicken good spices. Good times. Good size servings. Kid complaining there is spice in everything. Service was kind and helpful. Family kinda place

  Second Visit:Service: Still order at the desk and do all your own work. Staff was friendly.Appearance: The floor was sticky, weird feeling when your shoes stick to the floor in a restaurant.Food:Peri Peri Bean: The beans were served hot and fresh. Still tasted as good as last time.Chicken Sandwich: This sandwich had a lot of problems. I got one slice of tomato with the core still int it and one small piece of lettuce and then a piece of peri peri chicken, all on a very small awkward to eat bun. There was no sauce of any type on the bun. Once I added a bunch of my own sauce to add flavour, it was not too bad.Comments: I do believe this place has a future in Red Deer if they improve their food. The peri peri chicken and the other items on the menu are not food you find in Red Deer. This place just needs a bit more sparkle in the food preparation and then it could possibly shine.Go Again: Not in the near futureFirst Visit: Service: This is a type of restaurant where you order and pay at the counter, get your own drinks, cutlery, and they bring the food to your table.Appearance: Being a relatively new restaurant I was surprised to find the booth we sat in was not clean. The bench had dried up food on it, right where you sit down and not in just one spot, but in numerous spots. I find one of the biggest failure in a number of restaurants is poor cleaning of the eating booths.Food:1/4 Chicken Breast/Wing – Hot – The chicken was cooked nicely and the flavour and seasoning is definitely a stop up from Swiss Chalet. I would not say it was HOT, but more medium…if you are use to truly spicy food then order a notch up, next time I will try their spiciest.Peri Peri Bean: This is a nice combination of different types of beans, with tomatoes with a red pepper sauce and garlic. Tasted good and had great texture and seasoning.Double Skewers- Medium: Flavour is good and grilled nicely but not sure why you pay 8.75 for the 1/4 chicken and 9.00 for the skewers, you definitely get more meat on the 1/4 chicken then on the skewers.Macho Peas; Basic dish, you get what you order.Regular Rice: Again nothing special, but you an liven it up with the Peri Peri sauce they have available to use.Would I go again? – Yes, I would try it again.

  We love Nondos. We had been to one back in Australia and we exited to see one come to Red Deer. The chicken is so moist and fresh.You need to have the pasteis de natas. It’s a tasty custard tart.

  Had dinner at the new Nando’s featuring Portuguese- African cuisine. New and exciting dishes to be had. Mostly marinated in peri peri sauce but you are able to order mild as well. We found the serving size a tad small. Special shout out to the Pasties de Natas (Portuguese tart). Atmosphere and ambience are great, staff are knowledgeable and well trained. Going back asap.
