I know I have reviewed this restaurant in the past, negatively, however I am always willing to give restaurants a second chance. On this occasion, the restaurant came through with flying colours. Service was good, food was good, overall good experience. We had the steak oscar, it was done to perfection. Lots of asparagus and an order of calamari to top it off, very nice. Will come back.
Jade, myself and a few dear friends of ours met for lovely dinner on a warm august night. We have heard lots of great things about this place and we’re excited to try it out. We previewed the menus prior to our visit in anticipation and made us extra excited so let me just say why I only gave 4.5 stars. The belt on the AC unit was squealing and u could hear it over the jazz music but I’m sure it will be fixed soon. The food was wonderful I had the crab cakes and mussels to start, the group shared two orders of mussels and the portions were suitable. My main course was the raspberry chicken and let me tell you my tastebuds were in heaven the sides were the perfect compliment to a great poultry dish! I finished with the cheesecake and the portion was large and delicious. I will be back and hopefully to a more appealing background noise so I can give 5 stars.
I enjoy the atmosphere of the place and the service is usually alright however I haven’t been here in a while because there’s nothing I can eat on the menu. One time I ordered pasta and it came with nuts all over (I’m allergic) despite nothing being mentioned about it in the menu description.
