Whether we like it or not we all end up at the Phoenix Buffet at some point. Not a big fan but respect the fact they keep their salad bar fun,fresh and fully stocked. I would recommend the eggfooyoungand some of the sushi.
It started out as a good place but now the last few times we’ve gone it’s horrible. The one night we all had chicken balls and they were so hard the knife couldn’t even cut, they were like golf balls. Everything else was quite tough and hard to chew…only thing good is dessert. Thought we would try again but once again old and tough and just a big disappointment. Definitely back to Fusion, expensive but fresh and actually only a few dollars more.
The only saving grace is the few specialty items. Otherwise the rest of the buffet is just not good. I dont know that Red Deer has a good Chinese buffet which is sad but this isnt one.
