Really awful food, tasteless! Also, while I ate, the owners tried to push their socially-backwards political views upon me. Very uncomfortable experience overall, and I’d recommend avoiding it. I think they’re homophobic? It was a lot of ranting.
I didn’t really like the food, it wasn’t anything to write home about. The servers were ok but took awhile to have my water refilled. The Bigotry was complimentary but not appreciated.
Queens Diner has every right to post their objection to homosexuality and transgender rights. And I will protect their right to say whatever they want. I will not try to censor them or sue them for expressing their opinion. Having said that, I also reserve the right to give this homophobic garbage dump 1 star. You’ll never have my business, and I’ll make sure that none of my friends ever set foot into your awful, bigoted den of hate either. Thanks for continuing to give Alberta the stereotype of being filled with uneducated rednecks.
Bigoted and insulting! Nobody asked you and your business to shout your homophobic rhetoric to the world, and nobody asked you to follow people into the washroom to judge weather or not they’re following your personal ideals.I couldn’t give a flying f about who is in the stall next to me, so long as they pass the toilet paper if I were to run out.And I certainly don’t hate them based on an ancient book written in a cave and mistranslated a thousand different times.
Bigotry, transphobia, and homophobia leaves a bad taste in my mouth, just like everything else about this place. Sad to see things like this being presented as the outlook of small business owners, and even more disappointed by the half assed ‘apology’ which was given to the media.
Come to Queen’s Diner, where even their homophobic attitude screams 1950. Definitely a blight on the community of Red Deer and I’ll probably just hold out until the next town the next time I’m headed through.
Menu written in comic sans font is very distressing. I do not know why people to use comic sans font in any capacity. It is atrocious and very off putting.
