Whenever we get back to Red Deer we try to eat here. They always have plenty of room and plenty of food and treat us like family. The owner always remembers us. I guess that makes for a biased review, but also, my msg allergy has never kicked in after eating there, so that is a + + as well.

It is better than china ben, but thats all i can compare it too b/c ive never been anywhere else, i always go to red deer buffet and i like it. They have really good shrimp!! They used to have these little balls with veggies in them called house special but i havent seen it since 2005 and i really wish they would bring it back, thats wat initally got me hooked
At least once a month, my family and I travel to Red Deer. Every time, when we want a great Chinese meal, we come here! The service is quick and friendly, but by far, the food is terrific. I dont understand why people don’t seem to like it. Perhaps they are too picky or have very high standards. As far as this buffet goes, the fare is normal Western-Chinese fair, not many surprises, but they have a large selection, and even little children will find some great eats! I highly recommend this for good Chinese food at a fair price!
Embarrassing. I have returned to this place a couple times a year for the past several years. The food just keeps getting worse. Food temperature is variable. Ginger beef is sugar and fat. Lemon chicken is sugar and fat. Vegetables are over cooked and have bleach flavor. Rice is o.k. Desserts are poor at best. YUCK! I would be embarrassed to take someone that I disliked to this establishment.
Not good. Many times went to this place over the years. The food is disgusting, and the atmosphere is no better. Only highlight is the ice cream….yumm!!!
