After a long 12.5 hour shift l decided that the GF and I were ordering sushi. As usual Shiso did not let me down. The sashimi is fresh and vibrant. Especially the salmon. It may be farmed but it has great fat content and marbilization throughout. The spicy tuna and salmon maki are bite size deliciousness. All in all if you want great sushi go to Shiso. And sit in the sunken booth table section. Its the best.

Came here with my boyfriend as we were passing through Red Deer for lunch. We had lunch bentos with sashimi, teriyaki chicken, and rib eye steak. It was all very edible but the sashimi was not fresh and quite fishy. Chinese owned and operated. Not a bad place to fill you up if you’re on the go. Service was good.
