Service is lacking here. I think the staffers are nice but they are just slow and lazy or just don’t want to talk and be cheerful. It’s weird. Once you do get your order in, your food comes out pretty promptly. I found the spring rolls to be a rip-off. I don’t know if they are always this expensive and if so I expected bigger portions or tasting better. It felt like cheap Vietnamese spring rolls that you can get in an asian supermarket and deep fried here. The pho was pretty good. The broth tasted flavourful in a way that’s different from Edmonton pho. I feel like they got a unique family recipe going on here. The broth wasn’t fatty or anything but it tasted thicker and more hearty than usual. The tripe and beef balls tasted old or frozen though. I would say other than the broth, there wasn’t much to write home about. The good thing was that I survived my 1.5 hr trip back to Edmonton without any stomach issues. That’s a relief. If you are on your way home from Calgary and you are looking for something quick and unique, I suppose this is the place if you don’t want to look too hard. It’s located in a convenient location.

I have mixed reviews on this place. I keep going back but there are other Vietnamese restaurants in town I like better. It’s just nice to change it up. The Thai Ba rolls are great though. I always go back for them.

We had Vietnamese subs and they were quite tasty. Fresh, crusty buns, lots of veg and pickle and the satay had a good heat. Just a note, the prices have gone up slightly since the menu was posted but are still quite reasonable, the subs were $7.50 each.

My favorite restaurant in Red Deer. Get there early for lunch, cause it’s often lined out the door.

Best Vietnamese restaurant in Red Deer. I always get the vermicelli bowl and my boyfriend gets the hue style noodle bowl. And we both keep coming back for more. The price is really good for how much you get. The service is always awesome! The people who work here are always friendly.

House special noodle soup is amazing….food is always amazing. Only issue is the serving. Family run business and horrible servers. Be prepared to wait for everything.

Most authentic Vietnamese in Red Deer by far ! I’ve back packed through Vietnam all over and ate many local foods, this is the most comparable. staff is always friendly. Do not leave without trying the special salad rolls !!The presentation isn’t that of a fancy place but if your looking for authentic Vietnamese don’t hold it to western standards. You probably will be greeted by one of the owners little boy. He’s super cute!
