Who hasn’t been to a Keg? I feel like it’s gone downhill over the years. If you ever have anything wrong they are fantastic at making it right. I just don’t think they should have a bad cut of prime rib or a cold meal. All in all it’s good but it just doesn’t stack up with steakhouses in more metro areas.
After waiting 20 minutes for a server to come to our table. We left. Its 8:30 at night. Other guests were finishing up their meals. We heard the table across from us complain about service. I work in service and tables should never wait more than 2 minutes for a server to acknowledge them.
How do I give less than one star? We are typically Big Keg fans who enjoy their consistent quality of service and food. Tonight we were given two $100 gift cards for our kids as an anniversary gift because they know how much we enjoy the Keg. I’m not sure where we start, but tonight we had the worst service I’ve ever had. Missed dinner items, wrong food order, waiting 10 to 20 minutes to get Service while our waitress stands around other tables talking. The place was not that busy And when we asked a Second waitress for help she did not correct our food or drink order. We will never be back at this location and I wouldn’t encourage everyone to avoid this location. We left the two $100 gift cards for our lousy poorly served 143$ bill and it will be the last dollar we ever spend at this location. Thanks for the anniversary memories! We can’t wait to tell all our family and friends how we were treated by the keg on our anniversary. Looks like we’re going back to Ruth Chris!Just a note. We try talking to management yesterday after our experience at the restaurant, we call report on hold for 40 minutes and finally hung up. We called back and were told there was no manager available to talk.. Very disappointing explain support service we received.
No wow factor. My wife and I first went for our tenth anniversary . We waited for over an hour for our food respecting they were very busy then our steak and lobster tasted like it sat In front of a heat lamp the manager was great and replaced our meal with a gift certificate . Then the second time it was poor service having to ask for bread . Our booth was disgusting dirty with thick dust all over the top . For their prices service and food is only average or less . Wish a saw mill would open in red deer !
Disgusting. Ordered Sirloin Oscar, full of gristle and sinew extremely chewy steak. Barely any vegetables. Some sour cream sauce they claimed to be barnaise sauce, Far from The Kegs reputation.
Will never return!. Terrible service. Servers have no clue when it comes to etiquette and the food is way over priced! Sorry Kegs every where but Red Deer Keg has painted a very poor picture for your brand!
