My family and I have been buying baked goods from here for as long as I can remember! Everything is always SO delicious and the prices are incredibly reasonable! The staff are always friendly and warm – it’s always a good day when I go in. Definitely recommend.
Excellent local bakery- it is good for large orders that you need for an event and you want your guests to notice the freshness. Burger buns are great and so are the brownies, though some disagree with me here. It is NOT an artisan bakery. Don’t expect crazy breads and baguettes like you find at Cobbs. Different kind of bakery. Try them both!
Owner. This bakery is old school in quality and service. You will not get a better baked good anywhere in Red Deer or Central Alberta for that matter. I have no idea why people still buy baked goods from box stores. Once you try The Tasty Bakery, you will know what I am talking about!
This is a terrific place to buy your bread. Not only are you supporting local business which is essential, the ingredients in the bread are pronounceable!!! I do not want to eat wonder bread!! It’s toxic!!! The cheese sticks are delicious but bc of color allergies we have to keep these to a minimum bc they use orange cheese. Cheese is not naturally orange.
A gem. Most people don’t know where to find the tasty bakery because of their odd location. But I went in for a loaf of bread and a lot of curiosity, and left with a new perspective…and more than a couple loaves. I’d even go so far as to say the quality of every one of my meals has improved since I’ve started buying from the Tasty Bakery….have a jalapeno smokie on one of their fresh panini buns and you’ll understand.
