Still the best ayce in Calgary. They recently increased their prices. I also noticed they have regularly started holding back the sashimi orders until everything else in your order came, which I consider a low strategy to make customers full with cheaper menu items. Items from orders tend to be missed regularly now,not sure if it’s the kitchens or the wait staffs fault.
Best quality Nigiri and Maki sushi in town for all you can eat. Very friendly staff. Food can take a while sometimes as they are usually busy. I bring a newspaper.
I came here with my family tonight and the food is medicore for the price we paid. The service was absolutely terrible with the amount of staff they had working. We waited 30 mins to get our order taken, another 20 mins for our drinks everything after that was downhill probably another 30 mins before we even saw some appetizers show up. When we gave the server our order for round 2 they forgot to submit our order for another 40 mins and we ended up cancelling everything. One of the worst places to eat a. We definitely will not be coming back here.
The food was probably the best we’ve had at an all you can eat Asian cuisine. It came out surprisingly fast and the staff were great too! The whole atmosphere was very comfortable and we will definitely be back there! Very much recommended.
Stealing tips from your workers for your business is a big no. I will never support a place that does such a thing. Please report them on employment standards site, you can do this anonymously or file a real complaint if you are an employee. Anyone who is threatened to be fired because of this can also contact them about wrongful dismissal.
Ive dined at this location a handful of times. I enjoy the variety of the menu they offer (regular and deluxe.) Before it used to be paper menus with a limit of 3 rounds and now, menus are on an iPad and you order on the iPad which is convenient. Though, I found that the call waiter, option on the iPad does not work. They have a mini buffet inside the restaurant that is included with the menu. Also, the wait-time for orders is long given the number of customers there and orders are sometimes forgotten or missed which is unfortunate.
I have visited this restaurant a few times and the main thing that comes across is that they are disorganized. The food is fairly good however it is inconsistent from visit to visit. One day the spicy salmon roll has a large portion of salmon and the next you need a magnifying glass to find it. The guy and I tried the all you can eat lunch (which I dislike all you can eat’s because it stresses me out in case we can’t finish what we ordered) and since we tried to only order what we could finish, they charged us A LA CARTE prices which was less expensive and I appreciated that. Have done take out twice and on Sunday they were very deep in the weeds that my pick up order had me waiting there an extra 20 minutes for only three items.. Seems they need more everything.. from servers to cooks to runners to management. Probably will return but most likely just pick up, nothing is more annoying that waiting forever for every step from being seated to getting the bill.
