Terrible Service, Mediocre Food. Ive tried this place a few times, and have not had good service each time. The waitresses are nice, but after a while they disappear. We stop getting drinks, we wait have to go around and find her to ask for the bill, then we wait a long time for the bill. Theres no reason to go here, I do not recommend.
What a dump!. HORRIBLE SERVICE and DISHONEST BARTENDERS! I’ll never go back, the food sucks. If you want frozen chicken fingers and low grade steak then this is the place for you! The menu and bar is like walking into Edmonton 1993. And it’s all being framed by the depression cases packing the VLT’s! Gross. STAY CLEAR
Never had a bad meal. We’ve never had a bad meal at The Bend and like the place a lot. Admittedly some were better than others but all were good. The only problems are a) if you go after 6:00 P.M. weekdays, you may find the service is slow to non existent from the bar, and b) one of the waitresses wears enough perfume to choke a horse. Good food smells are wiped out every time she walks by. To make it worse, she goes outside to smoke then comes in and sprays herself with perfume then smells of too much perfume and stale smoke. Someone in management should get on top of this.Be wary of reviews by a person who has never given a good review to any bar and judges a place on who is playing the VLT’s.The lazy bartender is now gone as is the perfumed waitress. All is good now.
Not a good experience. Stopped in for a some food and a glass of wine. Hot wings sub par, steak sandwich on smallest piece of bread ever and cold and soggy fries. Unless you just want to play the VLTs, save your money and stay away.
Comfortable neighbourhood pub – highly recommended. This has become our local…service is friendly and excellent, food is always good and it is well managed. It’s always a comfortable place to go any day or time of the week and it’s a mixed crowd which is fun and interesting and the music is fantastic!
Love the place. We go to The Bend every Sunday and enjoy our time and meal. Service is great and so is the food.
New Menu, Huge Improvement.. Stopped going here because of the over priced typical pub food, but have been back a few times recently because of their new menu. World of difference, fresh, favorable and original food.
