Today we drove pass this gorgeous bar at the new location in Marda Loop. Interior was beautiful however the food was not. Reading the reviews on the Royal Oak location made us excited to go try this which made it super disappointing when we found out it wasn’t so good after all. We ordered Greek Salad , a Caesar salad some wings a burger and fish tacos. The fish tacos was the biggest disappointment, it was super sour like someone decided to squeeze a whole lemon on it. Weirdly enough, the Greek salad and the suicide wings were also kind of tangy/sour… but the wings were good and the burger was okay. Didn’t get to finish my last taco due to it being too sour 🙁 also service was slow considering it wasn’t busy at all. After the meal both of us had stomach aches and decided to write this review… most likely we won’t be going back.
Love the pizza and the chicken fingers with waffle fries! Nice amount of tvs to watch sports. Good wait staff overall. Not a fan of the patio.
Fish tacos are absolutely wonderful, crispy breaded fish topped with a lemon coleslaw topped with fresh tomatoes onions and sliced lettuce. All packed between a nice warm soft tortilla.Ceaser salad was perfectly dressed with real Parmesan flakes and real bacon bits. Chicken wings are deep fried and nothing to write home about.Great takeout packaging.
I’ve been here a few times to watch a game and have some drinks, but the service is pretty hit and miss. If a server walks by our table every few minutes without acknowledging us or just stands behind the bar talking to the bartender, then I might as well sit at the bar or go up and get my own drinks and she doesn’t deserve a tip. Service aside, we ordered pizza the other night and it’s actually really good. Filling, but good. I’ll return based on convenience of their location
Good little find for us, went searching for a different spot tonight for an impromptu date night and lucked out. Service was very friendly & quick, atmosphere was really nice. The place was packed, tonight was half priced wine tonight. I had the grilled chicken and Brie with yam fries. Boyfriend had the Tex Mex burger with thick cut fries. Both were pretty good, better than average in my opinion. Came out piping hot too. We started with the deep fried pickles – huge portion, come with sirracha mayo dip which was fantastic (also comes with the yam fries). Glad we found this place, will certainly be back.
great place to hang out with the girls, love the daily specials. wine nights are our favourite. service is also always on point. i would recommend the pizza, which never disappoints.
Have come here for several months for their wing night. (Tuesday $0.35/wing with purchase of drink) And overall very good wings. Not the range of flavors as say buffalo wild but do save much more than buffalo’s cost, and just as good of quality of the wing themselves.
