Man is this place ever good !!! We wanted to get food from another place in royal oak but it was closed so we drove around and found Smash Burger. Delightful find!! The staff were super nice and the teen behind the counter was so friendly and sweet !! Their menu has lots of choices so we decided to try the spicy fries (super delicious, hot spicy and salty), deep fried pickles (little slices of dill pickles), jalapeo baja burger (delicious) and a custom order burger (multi grain bun, meat, aged Swiss, fresh jalapeos, Caramelized onions, cucumber, spinach and smash sauce). It was all delicious !!! Perfect amounts of each veggies – we loved it ! And it survived the drive home (at least 20 minutes) and was still fresh, not soggy. Good work guys !
The burgers here are a little overrated. The milkshakes and fries however are good. Personally found the prices for the burgers to be quite high. Did not like the lack of combo discount when buying a burger.
I’ve never had a bad experience. My only complaint is I do find some inconsistency in the size of the burgers, my partner and I ordered the exact same once, but his was significantly larger. This was the ‘Classic’. Still, theres a good meat to bun ratio and I adore the jalapeno burger. I wish they had some better sides, but the milkshakes was delicious. The fries are sometimes under-seasoned, but I’d choose this over the Five Guys nearby, due to the grease-factor and variety of toppings. The meat is tender, seasoned well and I don’t feel so ‘heavy’ when I leave.

The smash fries and the crispy chicken burgers are soooooo good! Fair pricing for fast food style food and also I like that they have hot sauce available.
I do like this place but I find the burgers can either be hit or miss. Have had some great ones but some days I feel left wanting more. that being said the menu is great and the staff has always been super kind. Prices are OK.
Great tasting burgers! Place is clean, menu is simple enough for everybody. The milk shake and fries are the bomb. Always my place when I need burgers.
