The food at this location is not good. Every time we ordered the chicken it was raw both times. The salad is always wilted and vegetables not fresh!
Delicious Mediterranean fare. When we first got to Jerusalem, the restaurant was crazy busy (always a good sign, right?), but nonetheless a staff member helpfully walked us through the entire menu, taking time to show us each food item with evident passion. I opted for the Shish Tawouk Plate ($14.95) with the fattoush salad, and my friends got the Beef Kabob plate ($14.95) and Falafel wrap ($8.99). Our food was ready very quickly, and portions are ridiculously generous. My favourite was definitely the shish tawouk (perfectly tender, juicy chicken breast that was beautifully charred), but the lightly spiced kabob was also really, really good. The plates come with a myriad of sides, each of them delicious: the hummus was incredibly silky and light and the potatoes were golden and flavoured with the perfect amount of lemon. The potatoes came with an airy garlic yogourt sauce that was amazingly good – definitely make sure you get it when they ask you if you want any! There’s no doubt I’ll be back in the near future to try more of the menu.
We normally go to the Country Hills location, but we were in the area and remembered that a new shop opened up here. There is nothing we can say wrong about this place. Had the medium Falafel Wrap & Beef Shawarma Wrap. Filling was perfect and plentiful. Taste, awesome! Service was also spot on, from taking your order to paying. Another nice gesture was when we were leaving, they acknowledged our departure with a Thank you and good bye! We will definitely make a trip back. Thank you for the service & meal!
One of the most wonderful experiences that i have liven in Canada is eating at Jerusalem shawarma, where i found the real taste of shawarma the family care and generosity. Its been a great when my husband invited me out for dinner and the surprise was to Jerusalem shawarma!!!! It was a memorable day.I would recommend all Calgarian to try it.
Great food and nice costumer service Love it !!!!!I would recommend this place for everyone in Calgary. Best shawarma, donair, falafel and all ingredients are freshly cut. Generosity is one of the things that you will love besides the great quality. Real taste of middle eastern food
I have traveled all around Canada from the west to east, i have never tasted a shawarma like the one jerusalem shawarma makes, its defiantly the best in all over Canada.
Its very clean place, i love it. Absolutely amazing food. I love everything on the menu. You actually could feel the real taste of hummus, falafel and the shawarma. Keep it up
