I just placed an order at Raj palace royal oak today and was told to pick up the food in 30 mins. When we went to pick it up the guy at the counter who I spoke on the phone and had no recollection of the order and was acting like it was our fault that he did not take down the order correctly. He was so smug and did not care at all that he had messed up our order. Their service is awful. I will never be visiting Raj palace again and everyone I know how horrible they were. We visited once before too and it took them over an hour to bring our order and the food tasted awful. We thought it was a one off thing and ordered today and was more disgusted by their horrible customer service.Visited February 2017
I went to this restaurant for the first time today. It was absolutely one of best south Indian experience I have ever had. I ordered the Chettinadu Chicken curry, which was one of my favorite back home in Chennai, couldn’t believe it, the taste brought me back home. I finished off with a homemade mango kulfi which was recommended by the chef, it was amazing. I am totally make this my pin of favorite places.
Great food. Wife and I had the lamb vindaloo and butter chicken lunch special with a couple chai teas. Affordable, quick and yummy. Service was very quick.
Excellent food ! Great experience ordered for the first time and was delighted to find a big pack of mint chutney and salad in there which is usually charged in the bill in other restaurants but not here! And great taste as well!
Pricey and food quality was below average. Wouldn’t suggest this for anyone who enjoys authentic Indian food. Not much flavor, additional charge for delivery.
Food and service were both great. We ordered Paneer Butter Masala and Masala Dosa. Both the dishes were flavorful and appropriately spiced. The ambiance was inviting, though it can feel cramped if crowded. The girl who served us was always smiling and welcoming.
This was the most disgusting food we have ever gotten!!! DO NOT order from here! Got the masala dosa and tried one bite and had to throw it all away. Food tasted old, stale and rotten. The potato filling & chutneys were absolutely inedible and had a weird smell to them. What a waste of money. I would rate this place 0, but unfortunately that was not an option to click.
