I had heard amazing things about chick-fil-a from friends and family who have tried it in the US. I love a good chicken sandwich so I was determined to try their classic chicken sandwich the next time I was at the YYC airport. The sandwich on its own was quite pricey for a simple sandwich (buns, no sauce, 2 pickles and the chicken breast) but I pushed through as food at the airport tends to be pricier anyways. The sandwich was ready within seconds of ordering which led me to believe the chicken was pre-fried and not fresh fried – unfortunate if true. The sandwich was decent, not amazing though. The breading layer was very light and not crispy as I had suspected. The buns were simple and the burger itself was lacking a sauce – so I asked for a side of chick-fil-a sauce and it definitely helped. The sauce was pretty much a honey mustard type sauce. An overall decent chicken sandwich but nothing to write home about.

Absolute delight that this is in canada! Hoping for many more restaurants. Everytime I’m in calgary I will stop by for delicious Chcken sandwiches w/extra pickles, waffle fries and lemonade!!! All the sauces rock and so does having this in CANADA!!!! YA CHICK FIL A!!!

JUST OK!!! i was excited to finally try the Chick Fil A here in calgary. or should i say located at the airport. I had to walk around a bit before i found it on the departure level. When i got there i was surprised how small the menu was. I was hoping to get a chicken salad, like the one from the states, but they didn’t have that. Only 2 chicken burger options and chicken nuggets. I got the chicken nuggets meal 8 pc and it was 10 dollars.. damn hahaaaThe chicken was not as tender as the ones i previously had in the states and the waffle fries were cold. Not too happy. I guess ill wait to have it in the states again. lapetitteshar.com

Average chicken at an average food chain restaurant. To be honest I’d rather get chicken and fries from McDonald’s… And that’s saying a lot. Save the trip to the airport and just go to your local fast food joint.

Another blah american chain…. Nothing to see here folks, move along…Loaded up the sandwich with mayo and hot sauce packets and was decent. Old school average. New school fried chicken (yumyum/olive) is so much better. Even at the airport where there is a very limited choice of food I probably wouldn’t go again.

I love you Chic fil A. Chic fil A don’t listen to what people say about sweet tea, not all Canadians are inept at learning to enjoy something new. I LOVE sweet tea, I have visited Texas and the Southern states many times, and sweet tea is something I always look forward to. I wish you guys could open another branch here in Calgary, as I find myself craving chic-fil-a quite often but driving to the airport for it is a bit unrealistic. Please open more stores!!!!!

Chick Fil A is F’n A. I was surprised to see one of these up in Calgary, Canada. I love Chick Fil A. On the way out from a strategic conference we had some. F’n A. This new one has a ways to go before the service and food is up to par though. First, Go Bless Em for who they are. Second I’ve been craving a Chick-fil-A Grilled Chicken Sandwich for awhile, so I was elated when I saw this one. I arrived a little after ten in the morning, which was about thirty minutes too early for lunch. Instead of being pestered by a rigid time schedule, the candians offered to make my sandwich right away. When the order was ready, the manager brought it to my table and asked if there was anything else he could do for me. God Bless
