Been here many times. Average pub food for an average price. Restaurant itself is fairly dark and loud inside, staff frequently turn over.Food can take awhile to come out, and this is not related to how busy the place is. Ordered what should have been an easy take out, it took 1.5 hours (salad, chicken, 2 sandwiches). Yikes, wont bother coming back.
While the location is convenient and the food is good the service leaves a bad bad taste once again. Our mistake thinking we would give Nottinghams another chance. The last straw.. a reserved sign being tossed into the middle of our table without a word. We paid the waitress who went off shift and the new one didn’t even bother to ask if we wanted anything more. It isn’t the first time we have been snubbed on our ladies night out but it will be the last! How she still works there I have no idea!
This place is a short walk from home and a nice little pub to eat and drink at. Beers are a good variety of tasty craft brews, and the food is really tasty. My favorites are the yorkies and the bacon burger but haven’t had a bad meal there at all. Nice atmosphere and a great little neighborhood pub!
Another ok neighborhood pub with both pros and cons.Pros – cozy ambiance. Progressive beer on tap….not the typical generic draught everyone seems to have.Cons – service here is hit and miss but mostly miss. Having to ask servers for and about daily features, and not being a regular means you tend to get forgotten. Food is overpriced for the quality. Had a beef dip today $16 on menu. Not sure what the special price is as menu doesn’t state it nor did server. Beef dip is just that…..beef, bun, and dip….Nothing more. Not even a sauce of any type on bun. You do have the option of adding to your beef dip for $3.00 but why places seem to have this need to nickel and dime the consumers now. Just put together a great dish for a decent price and people will recommend it rather than the opposite.
We come in here often, close to our house and a great atmosphere. Love all the craft beer on tap, hard to find that in the NW. Jerk Face 9000 is the greatest! Now let’s talk about the food. Halibut fish and chips are a must; tender, flaky and a nice golden exterior, they are some of the best in the city. Homemade soups daily are always delicious as well as the burgers and beef dip. The house smoked wings and dry ribs are great and also on special different days of the week. We’ve always had great service and we are regulars now so love feeling at home here. Watch the game, grab some free popcorn and enjoy some delicious beer and food!
Severely unimpressed. Won’t return. 0 Rating.Football game on the satellite TV seemed to be our server’s (Sheena) only focus. So much so that she was screaming and swearing at the goings on of the game.Service was terrible and the vibe that was given was less than customer service oriented.We live in the neighborhood, and will be letting everyone we know to NOT step foot inside this establishment.FAIL.
Comfortable atmosphere, excellent staff, awesome wings and good prices. The free popcorn in a nice bonus too. A great neighborhood pub to visit for a casual experience.
