I work in the hospital so we have pizza day from time to time and this is where we get it from since it’s so close.While it is convenient that is about the only plus. The pizza is just never something I get excited about. It tastes bland regardless of the toppings you get on it and the crust is so thick and dry you need a spare glass of water handy for the crust alone. Really wish there were other close pizza joints as I’d definitely recommend them over papa johns.
This is our go to for when we want to order pizza in. They’ve always delivered in a reasonable time, and the pizzas have always been hot (and not soggy). They’ve never messed our order up either. The dough on Papa John’s pizza is really good, and each pizza comes with a dipping sauce. We don’t order often, but when we do, it’s always from here.
I always order online, and our pizza is always ready on time and nice and hot when I pick it up. Orders have been correct and I really like Papa John’s pizza. I find it less greasy than some other franchises.
I guess most of the problems are delivery related. I always order online and pick up and never had a problem. Excellent pizza. Either I’m picky or other Calgary folks would eat whatever, but to me this is the best pizza in Calgary. Yes, I tried almost everything else.

From the phone call to pick up everyone was rude !! The order when we took home was under cooked wings to a burnt pizza, too many other places around so never ordering again.
Terrible waste of money. Wow what a disappointment. We ordered a specialty garden pizza and a pineapple and bacon and both of them had so little toppingsit was truly hard to tell them apart. Still looking for the bacon and as far as the veggies go, a few tomatoes and olives and that’s was it. Also it had a doughy crust as it may not have been fully cooked. I called papa John’s and was told it was a call center number but they would offer me a 10% discount on my next order. Are they kidding. I doubt that I will be going back to save $3.00. I work too hard for my money to be wasted on this. Beware folks.
