Food is decent but service is HORRENDOUS. Even when there’s nobody in the place the service is still awful. Servers can’t be bothered to do anything or do it right.
Terrible service we had a table of seven and took 13 minutes to get two pots of cold water for tea and waitress was truly unhappy that were there at all. She was rude when we asked for two pots of tea. We went next door to Ricky’s were treated like kings and Queens.
A group of us went here during the weekend for a birthday party, and the overall experience was pretty decent. Our server was pretty friendly and accommodating. The drinks were all delicious and the food was really good for pub food. My only real complaint would be that I found it a little over priced, and that when I asked for hot sauce she ended up bringing me small side of hot sauce instead of a bottle. I found that kind of odd and then was a little displeased to find I got charged for the hot sauce. Which wouldn’t have been a huge deal if she would have let me know it was an extra change and that they didn’t offer actual bottles of hot sauce for customers. None the less, we’d probably come back here again!
Always have a good time here and the food is good. I love the patio in the summer. I’ve tried a few different things and was only really disappointed in the curry. Steak sandwich is great.
Consistently good wings! I have only ever been to Tommyfield for Wednesday wing night but I continue to go back. The flavour selection is pretty solid with my personal favourite being maple soy. (The butter chicken wings are also worth trying) Beer selection is well rounded and will have something for everyone. We almost always order the deep fried pickles to go with our wings because they do them right. The service is always on point, even when it gets busy.
Not a fan, poor tasting appy’s, sub par service. When it said gastro pub I thought there would be more emphasis on the food, it’s just pub/bar food.
Great food! Been to this place many times over. Food is always great. I can count on a satisfying meal every time. Service can be a bit of an issue. Long wait times between drinks if it’s at all busy. Overall nice place to go have a meal and a drink or 2.
