The owner of this restaurant is rude, no respect and toke advantage of new immigrants. He hired my mother for 14 hrs for $11per hr as a dishwasher. But he only paid my mom for $75.! He was so mean to my mom and humiliated her. He even dares to call the police! Huh! I was in vacation at that time so I was not able to fight for my mom. But social media is a better revenge. Karma will get them. Beware of this bakery. FOR THE OWNER of this bakery, just to let u know that we are in Canada and not in your country that u can treat people the way u like. We are all equal here. U’re rights is our rights too. If U’ve been doing this for awhile now just wait and see.

Make some room Little Lebanon…your baby bro champ is here. The small and hidden Beirut Bakery next to dominos on 17th ave and 32 st sw is making quite the name for itself under its latest owner with hands down the best chicken shawarma i have had in a long time. Baby brother to Little Lebanon owner, Mahmood has taken the shop and left nothing short of excellent in his appearance, quality, and especially his service. What he gives away for free to his customers like those little fatayer..others up the street are charging a dollar for. You really appreciate the love he has for his food and for his shop. And he has more than your standard baklava pastries in his shop available. Highly recommend the sweets I took my kids last week and was greeted by the owner with 3 fatayer…one of each kind spinach, chicken, and beef. Smoking fresh from the oven they melted in our mouths like soft butter. Sooo good! We ordered 3 chicken sandwiches and they were 10 out of 10 to say it lightly. A heavy hand of Golden crispy marinated chicken and fresh veggies on each sandwich my son couldn’t believe his eyes!! Hands down their new favourite shop to visit. And he topped off with 3 peices of baklava for dessert. What a champion!!I will say we are very lucky in the SW to have 2 lebanese bakeries so close and so good. But if beirut bakery was in a better location the line up would be down the street. Keep it up. We will be back. You can count on it.

Beirut bakery’s shawarma is authentic and no nonsense. The chicken is tender and tasty and their garlic sauce might be the best I’ve had. The veggies are fresh and the options are what you would expect from a traditional Mediterranean bakery. The owner is super friendly and gives out free samples. There is only a few spots to sit so take out is preferred. Their baklava selection has lots of variety and their meat pies are also good. I would recommend this place to anyone in SW! Just make sure to ask him to toast that Shawarma on the grill for longer so it’s not cold in the middle.

Very good and authentic! Very friendly owner and staff. Always give you a sample of something when you walk in the door . The baklava and baked deli items are especially good.

Fantastic – a local gem. Beirut Bakery is a great new addition to the neighbourhood! The owner is friendly and welcoming – working so hard each time we’ve stopped buy. This has become our favourite weekly stop. The hummus is fantastic, as are the shawarma pockets. The mini-shawarma pockets are great appetizers. We highly recommend checking this place out!

Very Rude owner. I was in the Bakery yesterday and this is the second time visiting the Bakery in the last couple of months with the same treatment. The Owner is very rude , no patience while the customer is contemplating what to order. There was a young gentleman and myself in the Bakery at that time and the Owner was rude and quick with both of us. The young man asked a simple question and the owner hardly took the time to properly answer him . I will never step foot in that Bakery due to the very rude and discourteous owner. I have no fault with the food so if you go there be prepared to order quickly and get out !!!

Awesome Beirut Bakery. My wife and I been looking forward to visit the place to try their food. The moment we entered the store we were greeted by a very friendly owner and at once we were given a free taste of some Bakery products since it’s our first time here. We ordered 2 Beef Shawarma and a box sweet Baklava to go. We enjoyed the food so much and we will surely be back soon to try those honey ball we tasted, highly recommended ! !
