Not this time…. The buffet used to be pretty good at lunch time. Not anymore. The food was cold and bland. We told them about it and they apologized, saying the fuse on the steam table blew out and they were fixing it. Unacceptable. I did however, leave a nice tip for the server as she was fine.
Great Brunch Experience. New Years Day brunch with 5 adults, 1 senior and 2 teens. Not a lot of selection but good quality items including Prime Rib and the best Eggs Benedict in town. No lines. Not overcrowded. Attentive service. Managers and chefs visibly present. Excellent value. No complaints. We will go back. A footnote: 20 years ago we were regular customers here. All large family gatherings were held here because my father-in-law liked it. In about 2000, the brunches went downhill. The service declined and everything was dirty, including dishes and furniture. This was our first time back in 14 years. Very pleased to see they have turned things around. Staff and management should be proud.
Terrible Sunday Brunch. We went for Sunday brunch. It was the worst buffet I’ve ever been to and it was $20. Even the cheese was disgusting and some of it was moldy on the serving tray and it just tasted like fridge. There was also a hair in the eggs, which were also disgusting. Even the cottage cheese tasted like the lowest possible quality. Everything looked old, nasty, and low quality. The cheesecake also tasted like grainy refrigerator. About 1/2 a plate in, I just felt sick from the poor food. I left hungry and $20 poorer. I hated this buffet and I will never be back.
Just go to Mcdonalds Instead!. The food was terrible. The eggs looked like they were cut out of picture book. One poke of the egg and the round yolk separated from the egg and almost rolled off the plate (it moved like a soggy marble). The fruit had brown spots on it, and was dry as a popcorn fart. The hollandaise sauce had this odd beige colour, was runny and tasted like it came out of a canThe service was about as good as the food. It took the waitress 10 min to get to our table, now if they were really busy I would understand. We were the only table in the restaurant. First mistake she brought us both the same meal, when we clearly ordered two different menu items. Second she reeked of cigarette smoke, which is probably the reason it took 25 min to get our food to the table. It took about another 10 minutes to get the order right, and a powerful smell of cancer on her breath again. Now to find her to pay the bill is like trying to find Waldo on a billboard!Four Thumbs Down!
The Beef Dip is pretty awesome! The Au Jus sauce is pretty good. But try it with hot sauce instead. I think the only thing I didn’t eat there was the menu. I came for work but, stayed for the staff.Kokanee Mike
Went for the brunch, had a great selection of food. Fantastic service as well. Robe of the few brunches I’ve ever been to where you can have toast.
While im not sure its worthy of a $16 price tag, the food is fresh and tasty. The Chicken Pot Pie available on the buffet rocked my socks and the dessert table isnt anything to scoft at. If you are looking for a great look and private dining for a date night i highly recommend the The Garden Court in the Glenmore Inn.
