  Went last night . So pleasantly surprised. It was amazing and I am critical. The spices were full, yet delicate. Also liked the ambiance. I strongly recommend. Standing ovation to the chef.

  Nice atmosphere is the only reason why I would give 1.5Went here with my girl friend we got the groupon for 5 course meal.Service was awfully slow and some of the food was alright but nothing you would ever go back for.I was surprised by how they have priced their menus; especially their kebab menus. I can buy myself better kebab for 10~15 bucks. Everything in the main menu is priced 24 but the portion you get is just so small. and the quality of the meat was just so bad. And the rice that came with the dish was just so bad, there were hard rice grains and there was minimal trace of saffron in the rice and for vegetable coming with the dish it was very small slices of tomato. Never been so disappointed with kebab.The groupon was 74 bucks and the menu we got was 100 dollar worth but.. i would rather eat subway 10 times then go back here. Such a rip off.I see so many restaurants in Calgary that just price their menu way too high. I don’t mind paying for good food but when food is meh and the portion is small, it just makes you think do they honestly expect ppl to come back ?My girlfriend got a beer which was priced for 7.00 on the menu and he charged 7.50, we didn’t bother telling him.And they add 18% tip if you use any coupons. so you end up paying something like 20 dollar tip for a bad service.

  The food here is great, its just as if you are in Morocco. The ambiance inside is beautiful, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious.I went here with my family and they all had such good things to say, its different in a good way.I will be back

  A group of us came here for dinner one evening, first time ever having Moroccan food. The restaurant was decorated very nicely, and really set the theme. The booths were comfortable and service was friendly but slow. We all ordered The Royal Fest which included: Harira soup, Moroccan Salad, choice of Briq, choice of specialty and dessert. I did not like the soup; I found it heavy and didnt care for the chick peas and other ingredients in the soup. I will say that most of the group did enjoy the soup. I ordered Briq of Shrimp and it was so delicious I wanted more! It reminded me of spanakopitathe Briq was a crisp pastry stuffed with shrimp. For my speciality dish I ordered the Beef Kabob (Tenderloin) Speciality. It was a generous serving and the kabobs were tasty and spicy! I liked the intricate flavors of the sauce as well. Though I enjoyed the Briq and the Beef Kabob, I won’t return since I have now tried Moroccan food and cant say its something I would have a craving for in the future, plus it was rather pricey.

  Here was my first and last moroccan experience ever. I don’t know where should I start. The overprice food, the bad service, the arrogant owner or a bit of everything there. I didn’t feel I have been treated like a customer, or even a human being. Three and half hour no one came up and refill the water, the waiter/chef/owner constantly ignored our request about water in such a hot weather. The reason he gave was you made the reservation 5 minutes before you came, so you have to wait another five minutes. When I made the reservation he could tell me come another time. Instead he punished us for making reservation too late. The owner with short hair really knew how to ruin your night and waste your time. They added 18% mandatory gratitude for such a bad service. And questing us why didn’t you say thank you for my service? OMG, I literally was speechless.
