Just alright. The portions were generous and everything tasted decently fresh, but nothing to write home about. I tried 60: Vermicelli topped with Vegetarian Spring Rolls ($9.50). The spring rolls were nicely crisp, but there was just an overarching blandness to the meal that made it a subpar experience. Probably won’t be back.
I really wanted to like this place more. It’s a nice large restaurant and the food all seemed fresh and plentiful. It just didn’t taste like much. Mind you, I’ve only tried one dish (No. 17 – Vermicelli with Satay Chicken and Pork Spring Rolls), but plain noodles with no sauce to speak of and chicken that had no zing to it doesn’t cut it. I’ll be back to try one of the other dishes because the spring rolls were hot and tasty and the service was good. Perhaps my menu selection was the problem.
Pretty good place, really fast and friendly service, the pho is good, tastes like they use fresh noodles, doesn’t taste like real satay just some chili sauce or something but the broth is alright too.Haven’t had too many issues with anything on the menu, the only bad thing I can think of is the bubble tea, it’s just a mix so it’s not great but that’s the same for pretty much every resturant
Great service and even better food. Clean and positive setting. My wife and I have been here a few times and finally today we ordered the kids some of their subs. Wow! Soft fresh buns, delicious flavours and fresh veggies and chicken. Bravo!
I don’t have a lot to say. This place is close to my work, and this is the best choice if you don’t feel like Dairy Queen, Subway, or McDonald’s. The picture I have shown was $10.97, and it also included a shrimp roll in rice paper, and my drink! My opinion on the taste of Vietnamese is somewhat limited, but since I keep coming back here, I would say that the food tastes good. I think it’s hard to go wrong with this lunch special considering what this shopping complex and area has to offer. The service is great.
My favourite Vietnamese place by far! Best vermicelli ever & the spring rolls are unreal! I literally drive 35 minutes every time I want it.
Spring is a fully licensed Vietnamese restaurant, located in Douglas Square Shopping Center Mall.Come and try the Daily Lunch Special is $10.45 and Dinner for Two is only $32.00 (4 courses).
