Went there today and we were greeted nicely by the hostess. There were only high tables left but we needed a low one as i have a cane. The hostess went to see if she could find something. She never did return after 15 minutes so we left! She was observed talking to a table the entire time We went to Original Joes
Went to browns for the first time a week ago with my hubby and family and was very pleasantly surprised. Clean place friendly and fast service the prices were average. Food was great everyone at my table enjoyed what they ordered. Will be back again !
Spent the evening on the patio. Friendly attentive service throughout our stay. Table has couches and pillows with a fireplace in the center. Comfy cozy spot with friends. Draft and basil grapefruit martinis for the table. Basil martini is a pleasant positive refreshing surprise. Fish tacos, fries, tuna salads, and quesadilla all look and smell great when they arrive. Flavors are crisp, all plates prepared perfectly, and portions are large. Quesadilla covers the platter, is spicy, served with three dips, chicken is tender with lots of peppers inside. Requests for extra sauces and dips are gratuitously accepted and arrive quickly.
I went here a few weeks ago for a Christmas/Gift Exchange luncheon with a large group of friends. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were originally on two tables and they moved the tables together so we could exchange gifts and socialize all together.Everyone was happy with their meal choices and no complaints were heard from our table. I started with a delicious Bellini which was fruity and sweet just as I like it. I ordered the #28 Dragon Bowl which was a coconut rice bowl with vegetables, red cabbage and a spicy yogurt sauce. I opted for the teriyaki tofu instead of the chicken and the tofu was fried wonderfully, packed with flavour. This rice bowl was fantastic and I would order it again in a heartbeat.I’d like to return and order other dishes though as the menu (and some of my friends choices) looked delicious. Some standard pub fare but flavours and twists looked nice.
