Hearing and reading good things, I decided to check Famous Donair out for myself. I came on a weekday around lunch. I was able to order right away and my donair was ready within a minutes of ordering. The staff was friendly. The donair was decent, a good amount of meat and a classic sauce. It wasn’t the greatest donair I’ve ever had but certainly not the worst, somewhere in the happy medium. Would definitely check this place out again if I was in the area but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop here – as there are better options closer to me.
Usually hit this donair joint 2-3 times a month for the the past couple months. Donairs are huge! And I love the sweet sauce – fast and friendly sometimes can be busy as it’s a popular place.
Stopped at the original local donair shop. The menu is short, they have donairs in three sizes, fries, onion rings and chicken nuggets. That’s it. Service is uber fast food quick in this decorated with local sports stars and graduation gown pictures. The donairs are flavorful, made to order and HUGE in all three sizes. If you like donairs COME HERE!
So good!. My husband introduced me to donairs recently, and I can’t get enough. So delicious! I especially love the tzakziki sauce. I wish they delivered though.

Delicious Donair in clean restaurant. The best donair ever in Alberta. they allways open till 9:00 pm. Friendly People are working there. VERY CLEAN. Best Price. Tastefull Donair. I’ve been there many times and I tried donair , donair with cheese, Falafel in meals. All of them are very delicious. Very Nice Restaurant. I suggest you to visit as soon as possible!!
I created an account so I could rave about this place. Spent 18 years in cb (hey munchie’s) another 8 in Hali. I love donairs, and the land we come from. After 5 years of eating crappy pretend donairs in Edmonton, finally ventured here. Don’t walk, learn to teleport. Robbie makes the best donair I’ve had in a literal 5 years. If you’re disappointed, you’ve been in Alberta too long.
