Good American Chinese food. It’s it high dinning, but it is consistent and exactly what you’d expect. Which, in my opinion, is exactly what you want with a Chinese food place. A go to for us.
Not impressed. Looks delisious, tastes none War Wonton, lots of goodies, veggies were raw, meat was tough, broth was missing something. Beef and Snow peas, meat tough, and what ever they use makes it slimey. Same with the Seafood chowmein. Noodles were slimey. Even the rice was tough Will not go back. Thought we would give them a chance, not again.
Great when delivered…restaraunt itself leaves something to be desired. Staff is very friendly.Dim Sum all great so far (all be it a little pricey).My family’s Chinese of choice for delivery in Sherwood Park.
You get what you pay for.. Plain and simple its cheap Chinese food..Lots of MSG.. Chewy deep fried overcooked meat dishes.. But hey for prices that low what do you really expect?I have been back several times and the service is fast and friendly. The food quality is somewhat lacking but its far better then some of the other Chinese food places in Sherwood park! (As sad as that is..)The Ginger chicken is normally a good bet.. And If you turn up before 3PM the lunch menu is a great deal.. Wonton soup, Chicken fried rice and your choice of three extras plus a drink and dessert for around $12? You honestly cant go wrong..At the end of the day they cook better then I would cook for myself lol..

Disappointed: Lost a Favourite. My children and I loved Good Buddy since we discovered it two years ago for the friendly service, mostly decent food, and family atmosphere. We usually order dim sum and never had any problems there; the serving staff is welcoming. I booked my son’s 6th birthday lunch there and one of the staff took the time to recommend the best menu option for 2 – 6 year old kids at $75, so I budgeted accordingly. The day of the party, one of the managers unilaterally decided that I hadn’t ordered enough food and tried to charge me $260, money that I didn’t have to spend. I just about died of shock and embarassment and had to argue to insist that they stop bringing food out. He adjusted the bill to $220 and gave me $50 in gift certificates. They didn’t bring out my son’s birthday cake and our guests left and we had to take his cake home, which was disappointing for him. They ruined my son’s party, embarassed me in front of my guests, and treated me as though I were stingy. I’ll never go back again, even if it means driving into the city.
Horrible. Fried beef. Must fried a whole cow penis.
