These guys are horrible !!! they cant get your order right , you cant customize your own combo dishes . Look elsewhere for that!! Plus they hang up the phone while trying to order …… not impressed !
Went here for lunch with some girlfriends. Such a cute little place and very friendly. Two of us had the World’s Wonton and it was really good! The medium size was huge! One tried the dried ribs which she said we’re good but a lot of bones which is usual. Another had the chicken chow mein (I forgot to photograph that but it looked great). I will definitely come again to try something different.
Picked up to go dinner for ones for lunch at Huis Wontons. First thing notices is that the store front is completely empty at lunch and that the staff are cleaning the floors. After looking at the menu ordered two combos that seemed high in price. Payed cash, asked twin w for a receipt and was told I would get one with my order. Order takes a few minutes to prepare, is packaged in styrofoam and tied in plastic. Ask a third time for receipt that is given to me as a written piece of paper, no till printout. Back at the office find lunch to be less than expected. One wonton noodle in my bowl of soup,combo container is half full of rice Flavors are salty and greasy with less than flavorful sauce.
This is the second time being there, have to say is the worst I have ever experience . The server came to our table and ask if everything was ok, she had a mouth full of food and while she was talking, food was spitting out of her mouth. It was a good thing that we were just about finished our meal, needless to say, we did not eat the rest of the food.
Not to bad of a Chinese food restaurant is not full is MSG like other places making you feel sick and bloated. Delivery time are pretty quick.
I went for lunch here on Friday. I ordered a simple quick meal of KimChi and pork dumplings. Very good KimChi!! Best top 5 I’ve ever had. Pork Dumplings were very tasty. Service was great! Nice and quick for lunch. My friend ordered a combo and it looked very good! I enjoyed the quaint atmosphere of this place. Upon leaving I said to my friend I would definitely come back!
Never had a bad meal.. I have eaten at Huis more than a dozen times and never had a bad meal. The soups are excellent. Wontons are homemade and very tasty. Cantonese Chowmein is my favourite. If you are looking for something unique they have a second menu that has authentic Chinese dishes that aren’t generally offered locally.
